Our driver and guide Chris was very knowledgeable. Long day but good day. I learnt things I didn't know which was even better. Yes it's a big day, but like anything you want to see, you make the effort.

With no great expectations or prior knowledge - I felt privileged to take this company’s tour. Had I travelled alone - I would not have connected do powerfully. The stops and towns around the fringe of this tour are quirky. The insights into WA flowed and Noongar culture was most helpful. The town of York was a surprise - so well maintained and thriving. Wish I had time for the two day tour. Climbing the Wave was not a physical challenge but a little difficult to work out the track indicators - a short track and a longer 800m track over the rock to spectacular views…the rock pools were amazing (it had not long rained) - but do take mosquito repellent

Wave Rock was amazing, as big as it is in the pictures. Our driver Chris was very knowledgeable and easy to talk to, we enjoyed every aspect of the trip. The lunch was good and nutritious. Saw white kangaroos for the first time. Most of the time was spent at the wave rock, which was great, we could go up and get amazing views of surrounding areas and rock formations. The travel is long but expected.

First trip since Covid and it had everyone involved in the tour excited. It shows how important tourism is for all our souls. The ride was very pleasant, Keith was very knowledgeable; and seemed to have a story about everything. Was glad extra time was spent at Wave Rock and less time at dog cemetery. Order of stops was a little strange, especially when Hippos Yawn is basically at Wave Rock but it kind of made sense by the end. Overall was a wonderful trip, but I could imagine if the coach was full, you could get delayed at lesser stops which could drag out the day.

I booked this because of the promised Aboriginal culture aspect. The chance of getting this viewpoint and info was very appealing. Due to unforeseen staff problems, and of course being Christmas, it was very disappointing. Staff lovely but the trip amounted to a bus transporting us from A to B to C with basic lunch then home. No cultural information, no admittance to two of the venues due to them being closed for the season, and lunch was very basic as I said. If Adams can’t deliver the same tour as usual then they should have advised us AND reduced the cost. $215 for this tour is too expensive for what we got.

The day tour "Wave Rock York Wildflowers & Aboriginal Culture" was a very long day with more than 12 hours driving and 700 km. It was an interesting ride and a few stops on the way. York and the dog cemetery were interesting. Hippo's Yawn was also beautiful but the highlight was definitely the amazing Wave Rock and the hike on top of it. The guide and the driver were good and gave lots of interesting information during the ride. Unfortunately the coach was to cold the air conditioning in the back did not work properly. The Wildlife Park was not in a good condition at all. The lunch at the Wildflower shoppe was good.

Very long day. Coach driver was excellent and trip well thought out. Lunch was included. My husband love it. Bit to long a drive for me.

A great trip with a very knowledgable driver who explained about the land and the errors made by earlier settlers by clearing the vegetation. The sites, Hippos Yawn, Wave Rock and Mulkas Cave are fantastic also the Aboriginal history surrounding the cave was fascinating. Highly recommended.

I took this tour on the 15th December 2019. After having taken a disappointing Adams tour a few days before I was a little wary, but this was so much better. I immediately felt that the driver and other staff member on this tour were warm and knowledgeable. This was definitely borne out during the day and I particularly enjoyed the facts about Wave Rock/Hyden Rock which we were all there to see. (Unfortunately I have forgotten their names, but I imagine that it will be easy to work out who was working that day). Our first stop was a little country town called York, which I really enjoyed! We drove around the town first and the driver told us about the town and some of the buildings we were passing, which I appreciated, because the time we had there wasn't enough to take the full walking tour. However we did have a bit of time - I went to see the Catholic Church, then followed the visitor center's guide down the main street, then went to a gorgeous little bookstore in the old council chambers/fire station building. The dog cemetery wasn't particularly special, but it was nice just to have a stop and stretch my legs. We also stopped briefly (not getting out of the bus) at a section of the rabbit proof fence, which I thought was interesting and a good thing to say I've seen. Hippo’s Yawn was much bigger than I expected and impressed me more than I thought! Wave Rock was incredible. I also really enjoyed climbing and walking around on Hyden Rock (the monolith which Hippo’s Yawn and Wave Rock are both actually a part of). It is a fairly unique experience and there is such a sense of vastness looking out from the top – it was amazing. I was also awed by Mulka’s Cave – not a place that I probably would have known about if it wasn’t for the tour, but I’m so glad to have been there. The food on this tour was 1) not very nice and 2) not what was indicated. The main meal wasn't anything this Australian would expect from an "Australian style country lunch", and stopping at a "remote country town" for afternoon tea turned out to be stopping at a petrol station! I wasn’t impressed by that at all. The food on my other Adam’s tour wasn’t great either and I feel this is definitely an area where Adams could improve. Also, I felt we spent too long stopped for lunch. Other reviews have indicated that there is a lot of driving to get to wave rock, and this is true, but I felt the company were pretty up-front about that! I thought it was interesting to see the changing landscapes. It was a hot day so the driver and guide were regularly giving out bottles of water, which was good. And I again appreciated being dropped right back at my hotel. Overall I'd recommend this tour.
